Shasta Cascade Rail Preservation Society
"Preserving Our Railroad Heritage"
Some nine years ago the Shasta Casade Rail Preservation Society was founded to bring home the Sacramento Valley & Eastern #2 steam engine.

After countless hours of fundraising and labor by SCRPS members, the dream became a reality on March 21, 2006.

The trip home started in Boulder City Nevada at the Nevada State Railroad Musuem and ended at the Fawndale Oaks RV Park just norh of Redding.
